This London-based traditional architecture practice is searching for a talented individual with 5+ years of qualified professional experience to join their team. Specialising in bespoke/luxury and traditional private residential projects, they offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where your skills and creativity will flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute projects across all RIBA work stages with a focus on traditional technical residential detailing.
- Demonstrate expertise in construction detailing and regulations.
- Collaborate effectively within complex, multi-agency teams or work autonomously as needed.
- Utilise AutoCAD, Revit and ArchiCAD (beneficial) software, with training opportunities available for those unfamiliar.
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication skills for client consultation and collaboration with design team consultants.
- Proficiency in managing complex workloads and gaining trust within teams.
- Exceptional design ability with a keen eye for detail and practical problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of architectural processes, from planning to project delivery.
- Financial oversight, including budget management and profitability reporting.
- Familiarity with UK planning, building regulations, contracts, and contract administration.
- Working knowledge of traditional and classical architectural concepts preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the UK as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of qualified professional experience.
- Solid experience in traditional technical residential detailing.
- Preference for experience in high-end bespoke projects.
- Interest in traditional or classical architecture.
- Experience leading teams
- High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and (preferably) ArchiCAD
