The Senior Project Architect will be responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design standards, budgets, and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams, including architects, designers, and consultants, to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.
- Oversee the development and execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and consultants to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project life cycle.
- Utilize strong technical knowledge and proficiency in Revit to develop and review detailed drawings and documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design intent and quality standards.
- Manage project risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies as needed.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in architecture, with at least 5 years of UAE experience working on large-scale, high-end hospitality and residential projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software.
- Strong technical knowledge of architecture, construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven experience leading and managing project teams, including architects and consultants.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP certification preferred but not essential.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- UAE driving license is essential.
