Job Summary:
This role involves a wide-ranging architectural design, coordination, and liaison function with responsibilities for team leadership and project management. The position operates under a hybrid working policy, with a minimum of 2 days per week required at the Blackfriars office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Control:
Manage all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work (0-7), coordinate project documentation, and lead project meetings and reviews.
- Design Control:
Develop and oversee design solutions, ensuring all elements are integrated into the overall design.
- Commercial Control:
Manage project resources, budgets, and client communications to meet profit targets.
- Quality Control:
Implement the company’s Quality Management System and participate in audits.
- Team Management:
Lead and manage the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, and identifying training needs.
- Business Development:
Identify business opportunities and contribute to preparing bids and submissions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience in architecture.
- Strong understanding of construction and building legislation.
- Proven project management skills with a focus on efficiency and profitability.
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and software skills.
- Registration with the Architects Registration Board (ARB).
