The Project Finance and Contracts Administrator supports Architectural Project Managers in controlling costs, ensuring compliance, and maintaining profitability, with a focus on NEC4 contracts and financial oversight in CMap.
The role involves managing daily contract tasks, maintaining accurate data, and acting as a key contact for clients and suppliers. Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are essential.
Core duties include:
• Planning, forecasting, and monitoring project finances
• Tracking budgets and analysing variances
• Managing payment certification, invoicing, and debtor control
• Ensuring all contractual and reporting requirements are met
• Issuing instructions and managing contract changes under NEC4
• Applying NEC early warning procedures to identify and address risks
• Supporting compensation event assessments and quotation reviews
• Managing purchase orders in line with procurement processes
• Coordinating sub-consultant appointments, contracts, and amendments
• Producing clear monthly and quarterly financial reports
Candidates should have experience in architecture or design-led consultancy, practical knowledge of NEC4, proficiency in CMap or similar tools, strong analytical and numerical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly. Knowledge of architectural workflows or other project management software is an advantage. This role suits someone eager to develop and contribute to a collaborative, supportive environment.
