Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Lead Project Architect
- Healthcare
to join their dynamic team, driving excellence in healthcare design. The ideal candidate for this role should possess technical proficiency, a keen design sensibility, and outstanding organizational and communication skills. As the Lead Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless translation of design intent into construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical resolution and coordination for a designated portion of projects.
- Assist in planning and executing work, making necessary adaptations and modifications to complete working drawing sets.
- Oversee the design process from conceptualization through construction administration, ensuring consistency and excellence in execution.
- Work closely with project managers, receiving instructions on assignment objectives, complex features, and potential solutions, while independently carrying out assignments.
- Develop overall strategies for producing project documents, including organizing data into files and incorporating elements into Building Information Models (BIM) or other 3D models.
- Communicate effectively with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to incorporate all relevant information into project requirements.
- Establish project team software parameters and uphold standards.
- Participate in business development meetings to identify target projects, clients, or market opportunities.
- Lead project teams on designated projects, providing guidance and direction.
- Prepare 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings and models for client and project team review.
- Foster a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience, with preference given to candidates with healthcare experience.
- LEED Green Associate Accreditation required within twelve months of employment; LEED AP preferred.
- Strong knowledge of design, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
- Familiarity with architectural building systems and sustainability principles.
- Proficiency in Revit and experience with spec writing in e-spec.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite; proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
