With a mid-size team of professionals, they specialize in sustainable and socially responsible design, encompassing mixed-use, multi-family residential, cultural, planning, institutional, and educational projects in the NY metropolitan area.
They are currently seeking an Intermediate Architect with 5-7 years of experience, particularly in the rehabilitation of existing buildings and expertise in BIM. US experience, preferably based in NYC, is required.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute as a team member on large-scale renovation projects involving multiple buildings and campus infrastructure. Other projects may include sustainable mixed-use, residential, education, and institutional projects, from feasibility through construction administration.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Project Architect, and other architectural team members, ensuring individual work scopes align with the overall project team.
- Participate in the coordination of design and production across all phases: schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Assist in preparing technical drawings, design concepts, and presentation imagery.
- Support bid period and construction administration services, including site visits and coordination with owners (both private and public agencies).
Skills:
- Excellent proficiency in REVIT and Building Information Modeling, with a comprehensive understanding of LOD classifications and industry standards for model elements at all phases.
- Experience with Navisworks is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and design skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Extensive project delivery experience, including construction documentation and construction administration.
- Commitment to and experience with sustainable design.
- Experience in New York City, NYC Building Codes, and multi-family housing is advantageous.
- Professional architectural degree from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is required.
- LEED and/or Passive House Certification is a plus.
- Excellent English communication and client interface skills.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
