Associate Architect – Landmark Mixed-Use Development | Middle East
A globally recognised design practice is seeking an exceptional Associate Architect to take a leading role in the delivery of a prestigious twin-tower development in the Middle East.

The project comprises two architecturally significant towers, featuring a luxury hotel within one tower and high-end residential apartments within the other. Currently at RIBA Stage 2, this is a unique opportunity to help shape a landmark scheme from design development through to delivery.

Reporting directly to the Principals, the successful candidate will lead a small project team, oversee design coordination, and play a key role in mentoring and developing junior architects. This position requires a highly accomplished designer with the ability to balance creativity and technical rigour, ensuring the design vision is maintained while progressing the project through subsequent stages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design development of a major mixed-use project through all project stages.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of architects and designers.
  • Working closely with Principals, consultants, and client stakeholders.
  • Ensuring design excellence whilst maintaining a strong understanding of buildability and project delivery.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams and overseeing project documentation.
  • Supporting strategic project decisions and contributing to the studio's design culture.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Architect with significant experience delivering large-scale, complex projects.
  • Exceptional design portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual and technical capabilities.
  • Experience working on high-rise, hospitality, residential, or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, construction methodologies, and buildability.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Rhino, Revit and Grasshopper are highly desirable.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a world-class design practice and play a pivotal role in delivering a landmark development that will define a city skyline.
