Architectural Technologist – Birmingham / Nottingham
My client, an award-winning, employee-owned architectural practice, is looking for experienced Architectural Technologists to join their growing teams in Birmingham and Nottingham.
Working across a diverse portfolio including education, industrial/advanced manufacturing, residential and façade remediation, you’ll take a key role in the technical delivery and coordination of projects across all RIBA stages.
Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years’ industry experience as an Architectural Technologist, Technician or technically focused Architect
- Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
- Strong technical experience across multiple RIBA stages
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction legislation
- Strong BIM capability – Revit or ArchiCAD
- Experience producing and coordinating detailed technical information
- Confident working with clients, consultants and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience from concept through to construction/site stages
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Education, industrial, residential or façade remediation experience advantageous
- ArchiCAD experience beneficial but not essential, with training available
The Role
You’ll produce and coordinate high-quality technical information, lead multidisciplinary project teams, attend site and work directly with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities to deliver practical and buildable solutions.
