This is a pivotal role, requiring independent operation in architectural methods and the management of medium to large teams, focusing on the development, design, and administration of complex architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Direct the development of construction documents, ensuring compliance during construction. Supervise project scope and financial limitations, and address potential service requests.
- Team Management and Collaboration: Lead project layouts, integrating architectural and engineering elements. Guide the team in preparing scale drawings, contract documents, and selecting materials/products.
- Client Engagement and Communication: Engage with clients to define design requirements. Lead client meetings and maintain robust internal and external communication channels.
- Innovation and Problem-Solving: Research and propose technical solutions, maintaining high design principles and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
BA/BSc/BArch, relevant architectural/construction experience, proficiency in RIBA Stages 2, 3, and 4, leadership in large-scale projects, technical detailing, BIM environment coordination, project and team management.
- Desirable:
MArch, ARB and RIBA registration, international experience, RIBA Stages 1 and 5, financial project tracking, experience in industry events.
Skills and Aptitudes:
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Organisational: Strong ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Technical Proficiency: Office 365, Revit/BIM 360, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D visualization tools.
