Architect – London 3+ Years’ Post-Qualification Experience | Chartered Practice
My client, an award-winning Chartered architectural practice, is seeking an experienced Architect with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience to join their London studio. Renowned for delivering high-quality work across education, residential, commercial, blue light and industrial sectors, this is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and design-led environment with strong cross-studio integration across the UK.
This role would suit a technically strong Architect who is confident leading projects through the full construction lifecycle, with the ability to manage teams, coordinate consultants, and take responsibility for successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee projects through all stages of delivery, from inception through to completion
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across the full construction project lifecycle
- Coordinate design development, technical information, and construction delivery
- Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development opportunities
- Contribute to design excellence alongside robust technical resolution
- Deliver projects across both traditional and design & build procurement routes
- Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years’ post-qualification experience, including project leadership
- ARB registered Architect (or equivalent)
- Strong proficiency in Revit and NBS Chorus, alongside relevant design software
- Excellent design ability combined with strong technical and construction knowledge
- Experience delivering projects across multiple sectors (education, residential, commercial, industrial or blue light advantageous)
- Experience working across all RIBA Plan of Work stages (desirable)
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations, contracts, and codes of practice
- Commercial awareness with the ability to support client relationships and business opportunities
- Experience delivering both traditional and design & build projects
- Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
