This role will involve contributing to projects from early design development and planning stages through to technical delivery. Many schemes are located on strategically important sites, requiring a considered and collaborative design approach and regular engagement with clients, consultants, and local authorities.

You will work closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality design solutions, coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, and support the wider studio in maintaining the practice’s design standards and reputation. The role will also involve mentoring junior team members and contributing to the creative direction of projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality design across all RIBA stages
  • Support coordination of consultant and design teams
  • Contribute to project delivery and programme milestones
  • Help shape design direction within the studio
  • Promote a collaborative and positive team culture

Requirements:

  • Qualified Architect with minimum 4 years’ experience
  • Strong experience across all RIBA stages
  • Background in residential design and delivery essential
  • Confident working with consultant teams
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Revit with hands-on project experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Excellent written and spoken English

What’s on offer:

  • Flexible working hours and emphasis on work-life balance
  • Hybrid working approach with site visits and design exposure
  • Annual summer trip and Christmas party
  • Regular team social events throughout the year
  • Early finish on Fridays
  • Pension scheme
  • Clear career development and progression opportunities

My client offers a collaborative and supportive studio environment, with a strong focus on design quality, professional growth, and team culture.
