​Our client is a reputed company specializing in high end, large projects worldwide. They are looking to welcome a very creative, talented FF&E Designer for their UAE office.

Key Criteria required for the role:

  • 5 years minimum experience in the Hospitality Design Sector working with leading Design Consultancies / International brands in Dubai as a FF&E Designer.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Good understanding of operational requirements gained through exposure to premium hotel / restaurant operators. 

  • Good product and technical knowledge of FF&E items. 

  • Good skills in space planning, color matching, detailing. 

  • Knowledge of suppliers, manufacturers and products available internationally. 

  • Good interpersonal relations to enable positive and productive communication with client and ascertain design goals required from initial briefing. 

  • Ability to lead overall design concept in conjunction with the Design Director. 

  • Awareness of importance of Programme and ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. 

  • Ability to work on several projects concurrently. 

  • Ability to work well in a team. 

  • Ability to always meet deadlines.

Job responsibilities 

  • Attending all client meetings from initial briefing onwards. 

  • Participate in development and maintenance of programme. 

  • Preparation of conceptual design and master planning for initial concept presentation. 

  • Production of full FF&E presentation boards and finishes boards for client presentation. 

  • Preparing sketch details and supervise production of all CAD drawings. 

  • Preparing specifications for all FF&E and finishes. 

  • Client presentations and attending all client meetings. 

  • Participation in pre-qualification and approval of manufacturers and suppliers. 

  • Review of all manufacturers and suppliers shop drawings, finish samples, prototype samples etc. 

  • Co-ordination with appointed consultants and specialist sub-consultants such as lighting, graphics, landscaping etc. 

  • Supervision of installation of the FF&E - ensuring the implementation of design intent is maintained along with the desired quality of finish. 

  • Accessorizing the project throughout. 

  • Contribution to project snagging report.
