​Planning Recruitment are currently supporting a close-knit Architectural Studio in South London as they looking to welcome an experienced Part 2 to their growing team following a succession of work winning.

Upon joining the practice, you will be working alongside other Assistants and Architects on a number of projects within the private residential sector, values of which range from 100k to 1 million. The practice has a highly established reputation within this sector and boasts an impressive and extensive portfolio of past, present and future projects. Your role will see you involved in all aspects of the studio, and you will be encouraged and expected to take on responsibility, multi-task, prioritise your workload and meet tight deadlines when required. Examples of responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:-

Leading/assisting projects at various RIBA design stages

  • Measured surveys

  • Design in both 2D and 3D

  • Presentations to clients

  • Preparation and submission of planning applications

  • Producing technical drawings and tender packages

  • Liaising with other industry consultants

  • Liaising with contractors and specialist subcontractors

  • Site visits

The practice work in Microstation, so experience using Microstation is ideal, although those with proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp will be considered. You must have experience working on private residential projects within the UK and be able to demonstrate experience working throughout the RIBA Plan of Work. You must be qualified to Part 2 level (or the equivalent) and be able to demonstrate a couple of years’ experience working within a practice environment beyond masters*.
